Dump Trucker Driver

Responsibilities

• Inspects truck before dispatch
• Ensures that all equipment meets operating and safety requirements
• Loads, hauls and unloads materials at customer’s job site or at material pick up locations
• Keeps up the appearance of equipment and notifies the dispatcher of any problems
• Maintains current knowledge of all state and federal laws
• Maintains compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
• Maintains an accurate log book
• Ensures that the proper documents are available for haul
• Checks for customer abuse of equipment
• Notes damages to equipment and inform the dispatcher
• Maintains a good relationship with the customer
• Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Qualifications

• A minimum of (5) years experience is required
• Must possess a valid Class B Drivers License
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
