Dozer Operator

Summary of Position:

Allstate is recruiting an experienced Dozer Operator to support site development operations in central Florida.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drives a bulldozer at construction sites or during other types of industrial operations
• Duties include but are not limited to, moving soil, rocks, and debris and leveling the ground.
• Control the tractor and also operate the shovel or blade on the front of the vehicle.
• Assists in other areas of department or other departments as required.
• Presents a professional and helpful appearance.
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Team-oriented and possess a commitment to excellence.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize urgent tasks appropriately.
• Good communication skills (oral and written)

Work Environment:

Work is performed outside in varying types of environmental conditions. The requirements of this position involve extended periods of strenuous physical activity under various field and weather conditions. Applicant must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, manually manipulate, grasp, reach out, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull.
